Key 3

DSC01516

All positions of Test 3 have some blots courageously left in front of stripped critical points or anchors. Keeping that in mind let’s see the answers one by one:

T3-1-cevap

MacWin is leading in the race. He should start moving his back checkers and aim for a structure with the tail moving in accordance with the head.

T3-2-cevap

atilam is behind in the race. It is time to try blocking Preskar because he has a weak board right now.

T3-3-cevap

Race is about even after the move. The game plan for atilam should give all three options for him but leave only an unproductive race plan for Preskar. To achieve that he should use his spare checkers on his 6 to make his 3-point. This would stop the lone back checker to advance 1-pip and connect with the checker on 9. To stop blitzing option he should make 21-point anchor. For the last three he can use duplication to  move to 10 and aim for 4 in case the back checker advances to 4.

T3-4-cevap

atilam is behind in the race. Most rational move follows the themes of blocking the opponent instead of running, not getting rid of the mid-point where it will be useful transfering checkers back and front, start moving unproductive back checkers and connect checkers to support each other and to build points.
